Events and shifts

An event holds all the shifts, staff and activity for one engagement. Every shift belongs to an event, so start here.

  1. Create the event: its name, customer, location, dates and which teams can see it.

  2. Inside the event, add shifts:

    • Single shift: one date and time.

    • Recurring pattern: repeats on a set frequency, for regular work.

  3. For each shift, set the shift role, how many people, qualifications needed, times, and cost and charge rates.

  4. Add check-in options if needed: hourly check-ins (lone worker credits needed) or check-in by location.

  5. Add a meeting point, such as a what3words or Google Maps link, and any notes.

  6. Publish the shifts. Until then, staff can't see them in the app.

You can organise an event's shifts into areas or zones, each with its own shift roles, times and headcounts.
