People reports
Turn your people, time off and qualifications into tables and charts, with no exporting.
Start a report
Choose the data, which sets what each row is:
People: one row per person, with their employment, leave and absence, compliance, shifts and equipment.
Time off: one row per time off request, with days and hours kept separate.
Qualifications: one row per qualification someone holds, with its expiry status and SIA licences.
Start from a question under What do you want to find out? and reshape it, or build your own from scratch.
Choose a chart, such as a table, a single figure, a bar or line chart, a pie or a treemap.
Add fields. Select any field and it goes in the right place, or drag it into Rows, Columns, Values or Filters.
Give the report a name and select Save.
Questions to start from
For People:
Headcount by department: how many people are in each department?
Leave left this year: who still has leave to take?
Right to work running out: whose right to work has expired, or runs out within 30 days?
Probation reviews coming up: who is still on probation, and when does it end?
Sickness patterns (Bradford factor): whose sickness absence over the last year needs a conversation?
Shift hours, last 4 weeks: who has worked the most shift hours this month?
Contracts and hours: what mix of contracts do we have, and how many hours do they cover?
For Time off:
Who is off in the next 30 days: who is away over the next month?
Sickness by month: how much sick leave are we seeing each month?
Good to know:
Reports only show what you're allowed to see. Pay fields only appear for people with access to Pay.
Time off and Qualifications include each person's details, such as job title, department and line manager, so you can group by them.
Time off keeps days and hours apart, because some leave is booked in days and some in hours.
The builder works the same way as Portfolio reports. See Building reports under Portfolio.
