Pay records

A record of how each person is paid and when their pay is next reviewed. Every change is kept.

Pay is a record, not a payroll. It doesn't calculate wages or holiday pay, and it doesn't change Staffing timesheets or exports. Pay and charge rates for shifts are still set in Staffing.

  1. Select the person, then Edit.

  2. Under Pay, choose Salaried or Hourly.

  3. Under Rate from, choose Their own or Their role. Role rates are hourly, so salaried people always have their own salary.

  4. Enter the rate: Salary a year for salaried people, or their hourly rate.

  5. Choose their Location, where they work. Moving someone to another location asks for a pay review.

  6. Choose how their Holiday pay works:

    • Paid as normal when leave is taken. Salaried people are always paid this way.

    • Accrued with the hours worked, for hourly staff.

  7. Add the Last review and Next review dates, and any Notes, then select Save.

  • New rate from a date schedules a new rate.

  • Mark reviewed records that a review happened.

  • History shows every change, when and by whom.

The top of the page counts overdue reviews, reviews due in 30 days, reviews needed after a change, and people with no pay set up.
