Setting up your assistant

Support is an assistant that answers your customers' questions on your website, any time.

For admins

Support is switched off while Pair updates it. The chat window on websites says chat is unavailable, and changes you make are kept for when it's back.

  1. Give the assistant a name and an optional tagline.

  2. Write the welcome message. Use ${firstName} where the visitor's first name should go.

  3. Add up to 10 suggested questions, shown as buttons visitors can tap.

  4. Upload a profile picture (PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 2 MB) and a chat button icon (an SVG about 32 × 32 px).

Use Preview to see the chat window before you save.
