The ticket scanner
Check tickets at the door on any internet-connected phone or tablet, with nothing to install. Your door staff join with a link you send them.
Before you start: turn on Digital QR Code Generation on each product that needs tickets, so customers get a QR code ticket by email when they book. See Add a product under Booking.
In Scanner links, select Create link. Choose how many phones can join with it, and until when.
Send the link to your door staff, or show its QR code to a phone in the room.
Each phone or tablet that opens the link joins your organisation and scans only your tickets, at scan.pairsoftware.io.
Scan each ticket. The scanner shows straight away whether it's valid.
Good to know:
Phones that joined keep scanning after the link ends. The end date only stops new phones joining.
Phones and tablets lists every device that joined. Remove a lost one and it stops scanning at once.
Redeemed tickets show on each booking.
